This year’s PCIM Expo was an absolute highlight for the power electronics industry – and we were right in the thick of it! With impressive figures, a well-attended joint stand and a full-packed programme for the next generation, we can look back on three thoroughly successful days in Nuremberg.
The exhibition halls were buzzing with activity: with a total of 16,500 visitors and over 800 conference participants from academia and industry, PCIM was once again a great success. The latest trends and technological breakthroughs were discussed in over 500 high-calibre specialist presentations.
Our joint stand served as a central hub for in-depth technical discussions, new collaborations and direct exchanges within the industry. Did you miss our ECPE Joint Stand, or would you like to check again who was there?
Once again this year, Students Day was a project particularly close to our hearts, enabling us to inspire the next generation of engineers to embrace the world of power electronics. The concept was a resounding success:
In the beginning the students were given a presentation with insights into the current hot topics in power electronics – from highly efficient semiconductors to the challenges of the energy transition.
Divided into groups, the students headed straight to the exhibition floor. Whilst visiting various company stands, they were able to experience technology first-hand, find out specifically about current job vacancies and career entry opportunities. As well, they had the possibility to make initial contacts for work placements, final-year projects or direct entry into the profession. The companies were delighted by the keen interest shown by these potential future talents.
We would like to thank all our partners, exhibitors and, of course, the highly motivated students who made this day so special. See you next year!
