How to get to Darmstadt

The city of Darmstadt is located in the heart of the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main region in the Western part of Germany. Frankfurt serves as the main travel hub with train services and one of Europe's busiest airports with worldwide connections.

Train
Darmstadt’s central railway station is only a few minutes away from the Darmstadtium and can easily be reached by both car and public transport. It's a 20 min train ride from Frankfurt main station.

Plane
Frankfurt International Airport can be reached by car in 20 minutes and by rail or the AirLiner shuttle bus in about 30 minutes. The AirLiner stops directly in front of the darmstadtium and runs every 30 minutes (timetable).

Car
Darmstadt has direct access to the A5 and A67 motorways. Darmstadtium has an underground car park (Per 60-minute period or part thereof: €2.40; max. daily fee or fee if parking ticket is lost: €15.00). See https://www.darmstadtium.de/en/contact-us/getting-here for details.
