Special Sessions

The 2026 IEEE ECCE Europe invites proposals for Special Sessions on emerging and innovative topics within the conference scope. This is a unique opportunity to lead focused discussions and showcase cutting-edge research.

Why Propose a Special Session?

  • Highlight frontier research in areas not fully covered by regular tracks.
  • Address topics with significant impact on Power Electronics, such as:
    • Broad industrial or societal applications
    • Novel theories, methodologies, and tools
    • Breakthrough technologies
    • Emerging trends with high interest
    • Highly specialized domains
    • High-quality proof of concept (TRL 5 and above)
    • Collaborative efforts involving research and industry consortia
  • Foster community engagement through 4–6 high-quality papers per session.
  • Benefit from extended presentation slots: 20 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A for each paper.

 

Special Session Proposal Deadline: January 19th , 2026
Notification of Acceptance of Special Sessions: February 1st , 2026
Session Paper Submission Deadline: February 23rd, 2026
