Plexim GmbH

Plexim is the company that develops and offers PLECS, PLECS Spice, PLECS Coder and RT Box. 

PLECS is a simulation environment for power electronic circuits and control systems. It includes component libraries for electrical, thermal, magnetic and control-domain modeling and is used for time-domain simulation of switching converters and drives. PLECS Spice allows SPICE netlists to be included in a PLECS model, so detailed component models and PLECS-based control structures can be solved in one simulation. PLECS Coder generates embedded code from graphical control models and supports configuration of PWM, ADC and GPIO peripherals. RT Box is used for real-time simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing and rapid control prototyping, with Nanostep® solver step sizes down to 4 ns.

TRIDELTA Weichferrit GmbH

TRIDELTA Weichferrite GmbH is a producer of soft ferrites in Germany based on Mn-Zn-Ferrite. We produce cores for many different customers in Germany and Europe, starting at the raw materials to the final core.

The fab is located in Hermsdorf and is producing there for more than 80 years. With this amount of know-how, we further develop new materials to satisfy upcoming customer needs.

Besides the standard cores we also offer customized cores for prototypes at any quanitites. Furthermore we offer ferrite powders in different particle sizes and composition for scientific and industrial use.

University of Bremen - IALB - HiPE-LAB

The IALB of the University of Bremen focuses on the reliability of power semiconductors and power electronic components. To test modern devices under conditions beyond existing standards, custom test benches and high-precision measurement solutions have been developed.

A key innovation of the IALB is the M-Shunt — a low-inductance current sensor designed to capture fast-switching behaviour in SiC and GaN circuits with high clarity. The latest versions and application examples will be shown.

In parallel, the IALB continues its reliability testing of components, power stacks, and complete converters under combined climatic and electrical stress in the High Power Electronics-Laboratory (HiPE-LAB). Current results demonstrate how improved measurement and testing contribute to a safer and more stable energy transition.
